JOnsen 2018

I attended JOnsen, which is a Java Unconference at a Japanese Onsen. Onsen means a hot spring. It was held in Hakone this year. This was the 2nd time.

There were over 30 people: several Java champions, Java experts and JUG leaders from abroad and Japan. I really enjoyed! I found my English skill is improving.

We talked about many things such as writing technical articles, work-life balance, Graal JIT compiler, community operation and so on.

Of course we took Japanese Onsen! It was very good experience.

We could see Mt. Fuji, which is the highest and one of the most beautiful mountain in Japan.

I'm looking forward to seeing you at JOnsen next year!

We hold the event - Oracle Dev Moto Tour Japan in Osaka

Do you know Oracle Dev Moto Tour?

blogs.oracle.com

The 2018 Developers Motorcycle Tour will start their engines on May 8th, rolling through Japan and Europe to visit User Groups, Java Day Tokyo and Code events.

I'm a leader of Osaka JUG (proper name is KanJava), so we hold a developer event with Stephen, Sebastian, some Java champions and some Oracle developer champions.

Our JUG has many members. Over 50 attendees came to the event!

(The person who has a microphone is me.)

We hold an event monthly and have had guest speakers from abroad many times! When you come to Osaka/Kyoto, Japan, let me know!
